There are many times that I love to spend my Sunday afternoon on the couch, knitting up a storm while my hubby watches a football game. I am not a sports fan at all, especially when it comes to football. My husband feels bad that I don’t have an interest and tries to find something to watch with me so I’ll stay in the living room with him. I came up with a solution – instead of leaving to find solace in my knitting, I have learned to put the headphones on and listen to a book on my Palm. We both feel much better about this arrangement and we are still sharing our afternoon together. Needless to say, I love to make many visits to “Audible” (www.audible.com), choose a great book, purchase, download and transfer to my Palm. Isn’t technology wonderul! While surfing the web today, I discovered ”Knitting Out Loud” at http://www.knittingoutloud.com) that carries nothing but audio books on knitting. I can’t wait to purchase a few of the books I found today as I have a feeling it’s going to be a very long football season!
