I’m so excited!!!! The yarn my the sweater project arrived this week and I can hardly wait to start. I found out from my friend via email, that they most likely will be going to China sometime in November to bring home Lydia. So I have a month to get this completed and shipped off. My goal is start knitting today, Saturday and have the sweater completed by next Saturday - of course fingers are crossed. This sweater will be fairly quick and very easy to knit, and I plan to post my step by step progress as I go.
I ordered 9 skeins of Lion Brand Landscapes Yarn in color shade 271 Rose Garden for this pattern and will be using size 10 US needles for this project. Again, I choose the pattern called “Quick n’ Cozy Baby Sweater and Hat” and you can find this pattern on the Lion Brand site by clicking http://cache.lionbrand.com/printablePatterns/50733A.pdf. I can’t wait to see the end result and know this will be toasty warm. I just hope to have enough yarn left over to knit the matching hat.
