I just finished my 4th hat for the Ships Project and getting them ready to be mailed off the first week of January. I am so glad that I did this project this month, it made me feel like I was contributing in a small way in showing my support for our troops abroad. Sometimes we get so caught up in our daily lives that we forget to contribute something small to those that need an extra hug and what better way than to knit something given from the heart. I am going to do more hats as the new year progresses and send them off during the designated mailing dates. This will be a good project to do in between all my other things I want to knit.
