I just purchased two skeins of Aslan Trends “Artsenal” yarn, one in Terracotta and one in Rafia, for a scarf that I am currently designing using cables and noticed that Aslan Trends is holding a 2009 Knitting Challenge (a.k.a. contest). What fun ~ you can be as creative as you want using their yarns and send in your item to be judged. If you are the lucky winner, they will photograph the winning garment, return the original to the owner, and the first place winning garments will be duplicated by Aslan Trends and donated to the Myeloma Foundation auction.
