Just started a KAL for Harry Potter on Ravelry ~ this should be fun and a very quick project to add in between all my other projects. We’re doing Hermione’s Cable and Eyelet hat from JL Yarnworks, followed by the Cable and Bobble hat from page 133 of Charmed Knits by Alison Hansel. I was tickled to find in my stash one skein of Patons Classic Wool in cranberry, now I won’t have to go out and purchase more yarn (oh darn!). I love the Charmed Knits book and it’s always fun to knit a project while watching a day of Harry Potter movies. I think though at times it would be nice to have the ability like Mrs. Weasley, to have “enchanted” needles simply do the knitting for you. Just think of how many projects could get done!
About three years ago, I had fun knitting “House Hats” , along with a couple of Berets, in the house colors for a charity project in Louisville, KY. I ended up knitting 6 hats all together.
