Birthday and Ringing in the New Year

My adorable husband surprised me with a gorgeous bouquet of flowers and a the most wonderful card for my birthday ~ needless to say tears were in order and they flowed freely!

I must say that I’m totally blessed to have such a wonderful caring man not only as my husband, but as my true soul mate and best friend. To celebrate my birthday, Friday we’re going to have lunch and then go see Sherlock Holmes, which I’ve been dying to see. Saturday we may go see Avatar. Wow, two movies back to back … now that’s a first!

As far as ringing in the New Year, well, I’ll be doing good to see the ball drop on TV in New York. This year though, I want to stay up and bring in the new year, sharing a sip of Champagne and kisses with the hubby.

I have many plans, aspirations and goals for the New Year, and look forward to seeing them come true!

Happy birthday! Have fun at the movies. We really enjoyed Avatar, but I’m not sure I can handle seeing Sherlock as a man of action — although, I adore Robert Downey Jr.
