It’s a beautiful morning here in Arizona and hubby has been busy building me two new planter boxes for me to add more plants to the back yard – one must keep the hummingbirds happy. While today has a slight breeze, the sky is a crisp clear blue and is perfect for working out in the yard. We’re getting anxious and can’t wait to get the remaining plants in our yard before summer comes. It will truly be a hummingbird paradise!

Shorts on February?! Oh my! If I tried doing this in Maine right now…. it would hurt. I’m so envious of your flower boxes! It really sounds nice.
It would be a wee bit much in Maine right now — a little too cold! Our flower boxes will be great once we get plants in them. Soon you’ll have warm weather for flowers too!
We have had so much snow and ice here which actually is very uinusual that I am dreaming of flowers. Yesterday, I was painting in a journal and without realizing it I was painting flowers…Have fun…..
Sounds like you’re thinking about spring!!! Painting flowers is so much fun – I use to do that once in a while in watercolors.
