2010 Southwest Regional Alpaca Show

14 03 2010

My hubby and I had a wonderful morning at the 2010 Southwest Regional Alpaca Show that was held at the Arizona State Fair Grounds this weekend.  If you never have been to an Alpaca show, but have been very curious, I strongly recommend that you go.  Most shows are free or charge a nominal fee for parking.  This show was very small but truly packed a punch with all the wonderful Alpacas that were ready to be shown.  Alpacas by nature a curious, loving and quite fun to be around.  To understand the true nature of this wonderful creature, visit an Alpaca farm or go to an Alpaca show.  I would have to say that Alpaca owners love to talk about their animals and their farms.  Shows also host a number of vendors showing off ready made wear and fibers available for purchase.

Here’s my YouTube slide show of today’s show and I hope that you enjoy!
