Wednesday’s Pattern – November Beret

25 08 2010

Today’s pattern is the November Beret by Fiona Barnett.  This gorgeous cabled beret features classic cables with a moss stitch wedge in between.   Worked from the bottom up, the crown is completed in an almost star like design, giving this pattern a very unique look.

This project calls for Aran or worsted weight yarn, a size US 6 (4.00 mm) 16″ circular knitting needle, DPNs, cable needle and of course stitch markers.  This pattern includes written instructions with charts, and available in Small [Medium, Large] – 21 [25, 28]” / 53 [64, 71]cm circumference.

Suggested Yarns: Cascade 220, Plymouth Encore, Creative Focus by Nashua Handknits

This pattern can be purchased directly from Ravelry as an instant download.
