Yarn Along: Knitting With a Bit of Reading!

Two of my favorite things are knitting and reading, and the evidence of this often shows up in my photographs.  I love seeing what other people are knitting and reading as well.  So, what are you knitting or crocheting right now? What are you reading?  ~ Ginny from Small Things

I haven’t been reading too much, so I’m still on the same book Isolde, Queen of the Western Isle by Rosalind Miles.  Since I’m coming up to a four day weekend, I’m hoping to catch up not only on my reading but my spinning as well.

Since last time, I’ve frogged my handspun beret due to various reasons but the main reason, it was huge!  So, I’ve casted on a fun knit, the Shizuku scarf by Angela Tong.  This is a quick knit and an easy pattern to memorize.  I hope to have this project completed by the weekend so I can concentrate on my spin along over in the Spin A Shawl Group on  Ravelry.

Happy Knitting!
