Yarn Along: Knitting With a Bit of Reading!

Two of my favorite things are knitting and reading, and the evidence of this often shows up in my photographs.  I love seeing what other people are knitting and reading as well.  So, what are you knitting or crocheting right now? What are you reading?  ~ Ginny from Small Things

I’m still on the same book Isolde, Queen of the Western Isle by Rosalind Miles but I have to say that enjoying the book so far.

As far as my knitting is concerned, well,  I just finished my first sock for Monkey and I finished a lovely pattern by Carina Spencer, Zuzu’s Petals shown above.  I’m sorry the photo isn’t too great but I will be posting more about this project soon!

Happy 4th of July everyone!

  1. Ooo the photo makes it soo intriguing!! I can’t wait to see the finished shawlette and the yarn is beautiful.

  2. Tina, I can hardly believe how fast you knit this…3 days. Wow! Hope you’re having a Happy 4th – we are, but getting tired of all the big booms. By the way, our house sold and the AZ one will be finished on August 9th…Yay!

    • I can’t believe it either Darlene! We had a very nice and relaxing 4th, glad you and one too. I’m so happy for you and your hubby, yeah for selling your house and not too much longer and you’ll be moving into your new home :)

  3. That yarn looks nice and soft!

  4. Love your zuzu’s petals. The Springtree Road yarn is divine!
