Two of my favorite things are knitting and reading, and the evidence of this often shows up in my photographs. I love seeing what other people are knitting and reading as well. So, what are you knitting or crocheting right now? What are you reading? ~ Ginny from Small Things
I’ve finished the first sock for Anne and now casting on the mate. I love the cable pattern and the yarn, well it’s so soft and a true joy to knit with. You can find out more on my project page online at Ravelry.
I have also finished reading Isolde, Queen of the Western Isle by Rosalind Miles. I actually enjoyed this book, more so towards the end when there seemed to be a bit more “action”. Over all enjoyable book with a good story line regarding the love between Tristan and Isolde, as well as Goddess worship mixed with the early onset of Christianity. I’m now reading Next by Michael Crichton. So far this book has captured my interest and it’s been very hard to put it down at night. I think I will have this one finished very soon!
Until next time, happy knitting and reading!

Your sock looks great, very pretty. You did a good job:)!
Thank you so much Elisabeth
I love your sock! I have always enjoyed the story of Tristan and Isolde. Looks like an interesting book!
Thank you so much
. The book was good and I look forward to reading the other two in the series.
I love that sock pattern!!! (and your notes are very very helpful!!!)
I’m glad you like it. Anne’s design is quite lovely
That’s a very pretty sock pattern and really pretty yarn.
Thank you Anke
The yarn is awesome to knit with !
What a lovely sock pattern!
Thank you so much Hannah
Right now I like to watch documentaries on Netflix while I knit.
That’s a great thing to do Karen. There are so many good ones out there
Great sock you are half way there!! I hope the second sock knits up as fast as the first sock
Thank you and I hope so too
Lovely sock. I always seem to struggle casting on the mate. Glad you are sailing along.
Thank you so very much Heather
The key is to cast on immediately when you’re done with the first one, that helps avoid the dreaded SSS.
Your socks are gorgeous! So many lovely patterns and just not enough time to knit them all! lol
Boy isn’t that the truth my dear friend! I have so many printed off in stacks I’ll never have the time to knit them all ! LOL Thank you so much too, the socks are coming along nicely
I keep meaning to try my hand at making socks but never quite get round to it. I have a horrible feeling I’ll knit one and never quite get round to doing the second!
Anita that is one of the tiny hazards of sock knitting, not finishing the mate. You should give it a try though
