Yarn Along: Knitting With a Bit of Reading!

Two of my favorite things are knitting and reading, and the evidence of this often shows up in my photographs.  I love seeing what other people are knitting and reading as well.  So, what are you knitting or crocheting right now? What are you reading?  ~ Ginny from Small Things

I’ve finished my socks, which are blocking and I will have a photo soon, and now looking forward to joining the Carol Feller 100th Pattern Kal over at Ravelry, featuring her latest design Ravi.  I’m about a month behind, but I hope to catch up.  I’ve also casted on the Persuasion Scarf by Kirsti Johanson using my handspun in the colorway  Secret Garden . This fiber is so squishy soft, I love it!

As far as reading, I’m still reading Next by Michael Crichton.  This is by far a very strange book that jumps around so much that I’m almost getting lost.  There are too many characters and too many plots.  I will finish but I’m not sure what to think about this particular book as of yet.

If you love giveaways, please visit my dear friend Simone’s blog, Sand and Sky Creation , for a chance to win a copy of my scarf pattern, Los Verdes!   I’m also offering 30% off this pattern only in my Ravelry shop using coupon code VERDES at checkout and good until July 31st!

What are you knitting and reading!
