While my husband is off getting tires for our car this morning, I was able to cast on and complete 42 rows of clue 1 for the Fantasia KAL, project page found here .
I must now patiently wait for clue 2 to arrive next Thursday, which is ok as it will give me an opportunity to work on my Vodka Lemonade.
I really love Erica’s yarn – super soft and wonderful to work with.
I’m not sure when I’ll be starting the shawls for the Pins & Lace club, after reading the pattern and seeing the photo of the completed shawl, I’m not sure I’m quite ready for that type of lace project – a bit too complicated for me right now. Also, after much thought I sold my skein of Dye for Yarn Tussah Silk. The yarn is gorgeous, but I’m just not a silk yarn kind of girl. For me it’s a bit slippery and always gets too fuzzy. I’m just happy it’s going to a good home in Kentucky!
Have a wonderful weekend and happy knitting and crafting!

What a great start to the kal. Interesting cable pattern.
I think so too. Not a cable stitch pattern, just knit/purl stitches only. It’s called the bud vase.
It looks quite pretty so far!
Thank you so much Sue
I’m really loving the look of the shawl so far and I can’t wait to see progress pics for the next clues. Aren’t Mystery KALs a blast!
Me too Simone and they are indeed a blast! The suspense is killing me
