While my sweet husband was peacefully sleeping this morning, I decided to work on Clue 3 of the Fantasia KAL. I love how this shawlette is beginning to transform and I can’t wait for the final clue to see how it will end.
This clue included the addition of nupps, which gave a look of berry clusters. While my nupps are not the best, I’m quite pleased with the overall result.
I have to admit that I’ve been bitten my the “mystery kals” and as a result have joined in two others, the Mystery KAL ‘Out of Darkness’ by Boo Knits and the Myrtle Mystery KAL by Mia Rinde
Silly me, what was I thinking! Oh well, keeps my hands and mind busy. I plan to cast on both of these projects this weekend .

This is so beautiful and when it is blocked it will be truly gorgeous. I just signed up for my second Fickle Knitter/Zen Yarn Garden KAL – not a mystery one – I did their Obi Shawl as a mystery and it was fun! I have guests this weekend, so I cast on a Hitchhiker’s Shawlette – very easy to do while talking, drinking, etc and easy to pick up and put down.
Thank you so much Kim and can’t wait finish and get it blocked. Lace pieces always seem to come alive when blocked. I love Michele’s designs but never have joined one of her KALs – maybe I should do that

I haven’t done many, but have joined BadCat Designs KAL’s over the last 2-3 years & have enjoyed them. Working on finishing up 2 of them right now! One is the current one & the other is last summer’s that I had to put away when I developed tendonitis in my right hand, so was unable to knit for a while.
What fun and I love the BadCat designs. Do take care with your tendinitis, I get that in my elbow and understand how you feel. Have fun finishing your projects
TY – things get easier all the time – 2 months ago crocheting was painful, now, not so much. I take MSM every day in the hope of if not getting it back to 100%, at least getting close.
MSM is great to take – my Dad takes that and does pretty good
What am I working on this weekend? Cleaning out closets! Ugh!
