Two of my favorite things are knitting and reading, and the evidence of this often shows up in my photographs. I love seeing what other people are knitting and reading as well. So, what are you knitting or crocheting right now? What are you reading? ~ Ginny from Small Things
I haven’t been too dedicated to my reading lately and to be honest cannot seem to finish Into the Wilderness by Sara Donati. So with that being said, I’ve put this book aside for a while and will find something else to read.
As far as knitting, I’m still working on my Aidez and I’m happy to report that last night I finished one full repeat of the pattern. I must say that I really like how it is starting to look. I did make one modification and decided to knit a left cable and right cable instead of the cross stitch cables simply because I did not like the look of the stitch in this yarn.
Happy Knitting!

I need to pull this out of my UFO bin!! I want it finished but I put it down and now afraid to pick it up and try to figure out where I am in the patterns.
Yes you do Nat!
The texture of the moss stitch in the diamonds is really nice!
I love the texture in this design, just enough for interest.
Marvelous! I’ve been downloading books by Scandinavian authors from the library. That way they’re “free” and I don’t feel badly if I delete from my Kindle.
That sounds like fun!
I really like how your sweater is coming along. I have never tried knitting cables in a sweater. I might just have to give it a try after seeing our sweater though.
Thank you Ginny and knitting cables are fun and quite easy – you should give them a try
I love watching your cardigan progress. This is going to be so beautiful when it is finished.
Ahhh …. thank you dearest Simone
. I think this might end up being my favorite thing to wear this fall!
Looking good!
it looks amazing!
Thank you Jeny
Lovely. I’m sure that when it’s finished, it’s going to be gorgeous.
Thank you Sandie
i’ve wanted to knit aidez and am so inspired by yours, beautiful.
Thank you Lori
. You should knit one, it’s quick and very easy!
I read “Into The Wilderness” and another one of Donati’s books several years ago and loved them both.
I’m sure I’ll be able to enjoy the series once I don’t have so much going on
