I mentioned in a post last August about a vintage crewel kit I purchased along with a wide array of Appleton Wool for a future crewel projects. After a bit of searching, I found that the designer who created this little design has her own website, Sue Hawkins Needleworks. There seems to be a series of designs that this pansy is part of and I might have to consider them as well!
I have found a couple of crewel designs that I think might be enjoyable to try as well. One is a rooster that will be perfect in my kitchen and the other, a simple Jacobean design. I also purchased a vintage kit that is an adorable sheep, all done in crewel. I’m excited about this one as it will be going in my craft room when it’s finished !
Until next time, happy knitting, crocheting, spinning and crafting!
