Two of my favorite things are knitting and reading, and the evidence of this often shows up in my photographs. I love seeing what other people are knitting and reading as well. So, what are you knitting or crocheting right now? What are you reading? ~ Ginny from Small Things
It’s been a quite while since I’ve joined Ginny over at Small Things for her weekly yarn along. At times I have so much going on that I often forget things that are fun and so enjoyable. I’ve missed reading everyone’s blog posts and seeing projects, as well as finding new ideas for books to read.
So, I finished Dan Brown’s latest novel, Inferno, which the continuation of the Robert Langdon series. I’m not quite sure I liked it as much as the first three, but it was still good. I have to agree with a fellow blogger, too many story lines and characters, and rather jumpy. But that’s my humble opinion. I’m now reading A Holiday Yarn: A Seaside Knitters Mystery. I love Sally’s books and really have enjoyed reading this mystery.
On the needles …. scrumptious Angora Haze (a blend of 11% wool, 20% polyamide and 69% angora) from Rowan. I’m currently working on a pair of Judy Gloves from the Angora Haze book, a new collection of 14 designs by Martin Storey. I will be providing an in-depth yarn review of this new yarn later in the month to let you know my thoughts. Also, be sure to visit my earlier post for a chance to win my review copy of this book!
I’ve also been working on a long forgotten crewel project that is coming along nicely.
What are you working on at the moment?
