Sometimes I just need a break from knitting and need to find something new to do. So I searched my stash and found a left0ver skein of MadelineTosh 80/10/10 Sport in Badlands (originally used for my Vodka Lemonade) that was begging to be crocheted into a scarf.
I really didn’t have a pattern in mind for this project and decided to pull out my Super Stitches Crochet book to find something that called to me, and I did. A simple lace stitch that requires only a double crochet and a single crochet.
I plan to use my entire skein of Badlands (approximately 195 yards) for the body of the scarf and then edge it with my stash of Rowan KidSilk Haze in the color Mud (shade 652) in a shell stitch. Fingers crossed it will work out good!
Oh a fun Sunday note … our hummingbird posed for me long enough to take a photo, which I had to share with you!
Then of course it was time to hit the feeder ….
Have a wonderful rest of your day!
