Casting On and Casting Off: Socks

I am so happy to have a finished pair of socks!

That’s right, my second On Stranger Tides sock is off off the needles and ready to wear.  It was great to use a skein of yarn from my stash for this project and be able to knit such a great pattern with an easy to memorize design.

You can find more of my progress photos and info on my Ravelry page here.

On Stranger Tides

With this pair finished now behind me, I have decided cast on Spring Forward by Linda Welch and will be using my left over skein of Springtree Road Julep Sock in Aubrine.  Hopefully this pair will not take six months to finish but you never know!

Happy knitting!

About Tina

I admit that I am a yarnaholic, fiberholic kind of gal who loves knitting, spinning and crafting in general! When I’m not knitting, I’m enjoying my time with my wonderful husband and our spunky little dog Sparkles. I love learning new things, meeting people who share my joy and passion for the fiber arts, and sharing with others. For me, blogging has given me the opportunity to nit only share my adventures, but my ups and downs, my projects, my goals and so much more.

Beautiful socks Tina and love the feet posing, it’s not easy getting a photo of a pair of socks on a pair of feet :)

Thank you Karen and you are so right, it really is hard to get photos of socks, especially when you’re the one posing and taking the photo at the same time :)

Love the socks – I think I might try this pattern for some Christmas gift socks for my mum. I enjoy your blog and I’ve found some new ones to read on your ‘Those I follow’ list too, thank you for the recommendations.
