I have recently received a copy of Crochet Love, 27 Sweet and Simple Zakka – Inspired Projects by Jenny Doh.

This book contains very easy and simple projects, perfect for a beginner to advanced crocheter, step-by-step written instructions, as well as photographed details the steps and of the finished project.  I really love the first chapter entitled the “Basics”, which provide wonderful descriptive, as well as photographed,  instructions for various crochet stitches, gauge, abbreviations and more.

Designs include a crocheted apple cozy sling, binder duvet, birthday cake bunting, a heart purse, a granny square belt, a tic tac toe game,  baby’s egg rattle, bear ear’s headband, pretty paper weights, camera strap cover, embellished knee-highs, a skinny scalloped scarf,  washcloth with a soap saver,  coasters and glass cozies,  a fish mobile, finger puppets, a little crocheted house, a bunting with hearts, an up-cycled chair cushion, a doorstop, freeform embellished skirt, cocktail rings,an up-cycled plastic tote, toddlers crowns, hanging rings, a necklace and mason jar cozies.

So what’s to love and enjoy about this book?  The adorable small projects that are perfect for using up small scraps of leftover yarn.
