I haven’t been knitting as much as I’ve wanted to over the last week but that’s ok, I’ve still made progress. So far I have finished one Los Monos Locos/The Crazy Monkeys sock and have casted on the mate . This really is a fun project with a stitch pattern that is super easy to memorize.
I have to say that I’m quite thrilled that my stripes are lining up and since this photo, I’ve made additional progress. I’m hoping to have this pair officially done by this time next week.
I have casted on a new sock project called Feather the Waves Socks by Knitting Pixie. For this sock project I’m using my stash of Black Trillium Lilt sock yarn in the color Mist, which reminds me a bit of faded denim. I love the pattern and have made great progress last night and will update with a new photo soon!
Still on the needles:
- My Shallows scarf – this is a carry along project, so it has been slightly neglected
- My Misty Pearl Vest – I’m planning to take this with me for “car knitting” this coming weekend.
I have also added three new books to my knitting library this week – Ne’er-Do-Well Knits by Hunter Hammersen , Indie Socks by Chrissy Gardiner and Socks – Socks – Socks: 70 Winning Patterns from Knitter’s Magazine Contest
What’s on your needles this week?
