I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Your studio room is amazing. It looks like such a calm atomosphere to be creative in. Your way of displaying completed projects really caught my eye and has my creative juices flowing trying to figure out how to create some unique displays of my own. Thank You for being a wonderful inspiration.

Thank you so much Darlene and I truly appreciate your hugs :) I'm glad you like my new room. I owe much of the inspiration to my hubby, he gave me the idea for hanging up my shawls and you're right, they do look like wall art. I so understand about crafting rooms - I'm typically organized but the closet that houses my scrapbooking stuff is not quite so organized. You don't need intervention, just inspiration and I hope that I've given you a smidge to get started ... check our Pinterest too ~ lots of inspiration there!

Thank you so much Maddy and yes, I feel rather the same as you do about walking the streets of gold :) I really love my shawl and was very pleased on how it turned out. Actually I blocked it using quilting pins but hope to buy blocking wires some day. You must get you a set and tell me how they turn out !!!

I've missed "reading" you and I am so sorry to hear about your Grandmother, but then I think about her walking those streets of gold, oh don't get me started! I am glad that you're out of your funk and, yes, life is good!

The shawl you made is absolutely gorgeous. Made my husband look at it, trying to extol the virtues of a new set of flexible blocking wires. What did you use to block the shawl?

Hi, Tina.. sorry to hear about your grandma - I know it's hard. Hugs to you. I love your new studio, especially the way you have your shawls hanging so they make "wall art". Very clever idea. My crafting room is also my office/knitting supplies/scrapbooking & cardmaking supplies/Genealogy book, etc. You get the picture (a mess)! Maybe I need an intervention or use your room as inspiration!

Oooo! I love her yarn as well and I've also been really wanting to knit your scarf pattern. Since it is a storm day here (read knit-whatever-your-heart-desires-day), I think this is the PERFECT time to cast on!
